Richard Belzer is perhaps better known as the fictional John Munch, the character he has played on television series such as Homicide: Life on the Street, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and even Arrested Development. He’s a character that has been on television for over two decades, appearing in a total of 456 episodes and across ten different series. It’s understandable, though, when you’ve got the vast range and skill as Richard Belzer has. Today, on his birthday, let’s celebrate the many faces of John Munch and the variety of emotions Belzer has given us on the small screen.
