At the time of her passing in 2012, beloved writer Nora Ephron left behind several unfinished projects. One of those was the script for the movie Lost in Austen, on which the beloved writer will be replaced by Portlandia star (and former Sleater-Kinney guitarist and singer) Carrie Brownstein, reports Variety. The film is based on the British television series of the same name, in which a modern girl is transported to the world of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Of course, since this is the American movie version, the protagonist will now come from present day Brooklyn rather than London.
