Billy Eichner: What You Need To Know About The Dude Who Stole The 2014 Emmys

Yeah, we know that Seth Meyers hosted the 2014 Emmys, but the funniest moments of the night came from a pre-taped segment featuring the manically hilarious Billy Eichner in a special Emmys version of his show, Billy On The Street. We’ve got the 411 on the comedian and we’ll let you know where you can find him making the funnies on streaming.

Comedy nerds are well-acquainted with Billy Eichner, but audiences all over America were introduced to Billy and his reality game show, Billy On The Street, for the first time last night during the Emmys broadcast. Like a lot of up-and-coming comedy stars, Eichner got his start doing live shows in New York City. One day he decided to grab a camera and accost New Yorkers with pop culture questions and he posted the hysterical results online. A few years later, Fuse and Funny Or Die collaborated and gave Billy his own show, Billy On The Street.

Eichner has also made an impression as a correspondent for Conan and on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! where he famously shouted at Meryl Streep. You might also recognize him from his recurring guest role on the last season of Parks And Recreation. Eichner and his friend, Julie Klausner, currently have a pilot in development with USA called Difficult People that’s being produced by Amy Poehler.
