Jimmy Kimmel took advantage of having Jennifer Aniston as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and surprised Aniston and the rest of late-night TV with an impromptu Friends reunion including Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.

With all the hype surrounding the upcoming 20th anniversary of the show’s premiere, Kimmel—like the rest of American society that grew up watching Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Joey, and Chandler—is pretty freakin’ excited. So excited that Kimmel wrote his own fan fiction episode involving Aniston, Cox, and Kudrow in their respective roles with him playing Ross.

Where are Joey and Chandler you ask? Well, the girls were wondering the same thing and to that Jimmy replied, “They’re dead.” Apparently it had something to do with the monkey they loved so much. Moving on. Fully equipped with an exact replica of Monica’s kitchen and an accompanying laugh track, the four acted out a scene more awkward than Joey’s accidental proposal. More awkward than Rachel singing “Copacabana” at her ex-fiancé’s wedding. Even more awkward than Bald Bonnie’s head. Yet, like every Friends moment, we loved it unconditionally.
