Final Shots: Wait, Is ‘Twin Peaks’ Actually Coming Back?

Could Twin Peaks be ready for a comeback? Possibly! At least that’s what the Internet is hoping. As IndieWire points out, on Friday co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost simultaneously tweeted: “Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style. #damngoodcoffee.” The tweet could mean nothing, but past cryptic messages like it have ended up being advertisements for DVD collections, according to the A.V. Club, only there’s not supposed to be any content left to release anew. This, along with the fact that Netflix chief Ted Sarandos is on the record as saying he would “absolutely” bring the series back, has people wondering if that time might be near.
