Where to Stream:

21 And Over

Powered by Reelgood

The darling of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Whiplash, is set for a limited release this weekend and the film’s young star, Miles Teller, is on the cusp of superstardom. The actor has appeared in slew of teen comedies, indie film favorites, and is set to star as Reed Richards in the new Fantastic Four film.

Even if you can’t make it out to your local art house cinema to see Whiplash this weekend, you can still get your Miles Teller fix. Maybe you’re merely curious to see what else Teller has done or maybe you’re in the throes of developing a crush. Either way, we’ve compiled the five titles on streaming that make you a fan of Miles Teller. It’s kind of like a “meet cute” in a romantic comedy, but because it’s all streaming, we’re calling it your “meet queue.”

Footloose (2011)

Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four film won’t be Miles Teller’s first ever reboot; the actor co-starred in the 2011 remake of Footloose. The film failed to overtake the Kevin Bacon original, but Teller got good reviews for his charming take on good old local boy Willard.

21 And Over (2013)

Teller might be getting accolades for his performance as a haunted young jazz drummer in Whiplash, but he first made a big pop culture splash in a couple of raunchy comedies. The actor let his mischievous side out in 21 & Older.

The Spectacular Now (2013)

Miles Teller became a romantic hero when he starred opposite Shailene Woodley in the heartbreaking film, The Spectacular Now. Woodley and Teller brought an uncommon tenderness to the love story.

That Awkward Moment (2014)

Would we dare call That Awkward Moment a “bromantic comedy?” It’s a romantic comedy about three dude best friends who want to stay bachelors, but they find themselves falling in love. There are dick jokes in this, so yeah, let’s just call this a “bromantic comedy.”

Divergent (2014)

Teller re-teamed with Woodley in the big screen adaptation of the popular YA novel, Divergent. Now, Teller has made no secret about the fact that he hated working on Divergent, but we don’t hate him as a vindictive bully.
