Final Shots: ‘Awkward’ Returns To School For a Fifth (and Supposedly Final) Season

High School may only be four years long, but that’s not about to stop MTV from producing a fifth season of Awkward. The network announced that they’re renewing the hit comedy for one last season on Wednesday, reports TV Line. But don’t worry they’re not going to hold Jenna Hamilton and her friends back a year to accommodate the new season, the current set of episodes will end at Spring Break, meaning, one would assume, next year will focus on the final months of the cast’s senior year.
