With so many original series popping up from streaming platforms, it’s tough to keep all of them straight. Are they worth checking out? With somewhat limited advertising, it can be hard to hear about them in the first place, but with such great online content available these days, you might be missing out on the next great series. To help you decide which shows you should add to your queue, here’s a complete list of every single Hulu Original series and what they’re all about.
'11.22.63'
James Franco stars in this adaption of Stephen King’s 2011 novel, 11/22/63. Produced by J.J. Abrams, this Hulu Original follows high school English teacher Jake Epping (Franco) as he travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He encounters threats to his mission along the way including falling in love, Lee Harvey Oswald himself, and the past defying change. This eight-part event series made it’s world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and will be available for streaming on President’s Day, February 15th 2016.
'A Day in the Life'
Documentarian Morgan Spurlock (Supersize Me) is a fly on the wall in his docuseries, A Day in the Life, chronicling the routines of today’s biggest pop culture personalities in an entertainment news-obsessed age in America. Each half-hour episode features a new subject, giving insight from all branches of the industry.
'The Awesomes'
From Seth Myers (SNL, Late Night with Seth Myers) and Mike Shoemaker (producer, SNL) comes an adult-friendly cartoon about not-so-super superheroes who are just doing their best to save humanity, which proves difficult when your superpowers are unreliable.
'Battleground'
If The Office and Parks and Recreation had a moody baby, it might look something like the mockumentary dramedy Battleground. Everyone in Wisconsin knows political strategist, Chris “Tak” Davis (Jay Hayden) and his campaign team are not to be reckoned with as they control the politicians and media in this part of the midwest.
'Behind the Mask'
Being the team mascot isn’t always fun and games. You have to bring the hype and get the crowd going every time which can be pretty exhausting, especially when your occupation requires a hot, sweaty costume. This hilarious docuseries introduces us to team mascots representing all sports levels from around the country.
'Casual'
Hulu Original’s comedy series focuses on a bachelor brother and his newly divorced sister living under the same roof again as they guide each other through the turbulent world of dating, all while raising her teenage daughter. Michaela Watkins, Tommy Dewey and Tara Lynn Barr star in this heartwarming comedy streaming its second season in 2016.
'Deadbeat'
Kevin (Tyler Labine) can see dead people and they won’t seem to leave him alone. After learning he’s the only one who can help these spirits finish their unfinished business, Kevin has to do all he can to be the best purgatory pal and avoid all real life responsibility.
'Difficult People'
While Billy Eichner’s role as the beloved Craig on Parks and Recreation, who always made his point very clear, ended along with the show last year he’s not giving up his trademark over-dramatization just yet. Starring along Julie Klausner in this Amy Poehler produced comedy series, Eichner and Klausner play two, often irreverent best friends finding their way into awkward situations throughout New York City. You’ll feel like a much better person pushing your way through a crow to score for the last seat on a crowed subway train after binging this hilarious series.
'Doozers'
From Jim Henson Company comes a precious new preschool series, Doozers. 'East Los High'
This new drama centers around the inner-city teens of East Los Angeles High School. If you’re in need of a good binge-watch that will hook you from the start, check out this series, which is kind of like if Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars had a touch of a telenovela twist.
'Fugget About It'
This adult-friendly cartoon follows former mob boss Jimmy Falcone in the aftermath of throwing his boss, Don Gamibini, out a window. Forced into witness protection, Jimmy and his quirky Brooklyn family are uprooted to Canada and have to disguise themselves as “The MacDougals.”
'The Hot Wives of Las Vegas'
Comedy’s funniest females team up in a whole new edition of this hilarious Real Housewives parody. Casey Wilson, Danielle Schneider, Erinn Hayes, Angela Kinsey and more star in this drama filled and over botoxed series set in America’s most sinful city, Las Vegas. You’ll be sure to laugh and cringe all at the same time with this Hulu Original comedy going into its second season.
'The Hotwives of Orlando'
Casey Wilson (Marry Me), Kristen Schaal (Bob’s Burgers), Paul Scheer (The League), and more star in this hilarious parody of the Real Housewives shows plaguing cable, The Hotwives of Orlando. Equipped with tons of body glitter, glamor, and boob implants, these ladies bring the drama every episode and no one is safe.
'The Mindy Project'
The Mindy Kaling fandom almost had meltdown when Fox announced that it would not renewing Kaling’s executive produced series for a fourth season but at last Hulu swooped in and saved this hilarious romantic comedy. Kaling plays Mindy Lahiri, an obstetrician/gynecologist in New York City trying to balance her turbulent love life and professional career with her own private practice. Surrounded by her eccentric co-workers, depicted by the likes of Ike Barinholtz, Chris Messina, Adam Pally, Ed Weeks and a whole slew of talented cast members, Mindy dresses to kill and doesn’t let any man get in the way of her success .
'Misfits'
Meet Kelly, Nathan, Curtis, Alisha and Simon are forced into community service after a batch of petty crimes. When a bizarre storm rushes through their curious hometown, all five start noticing strange superhuman powers coming over them.
'Moone Boy'
Chris O’Dowd (Family Tree, Bridesmaids) writes and stars in this award-winning comedy about young Martin Moone and his imaginary, friend, Sean (O’Dowd). They’re both trying to grow up and discover what talents they have to offer the world, but being a kid is tough, no matter how old you are. O’Dowd’s series has been a smash hit over in the UK and now Seasons One and Two are available to stream exclusively on Hulu.

The Path literally takes us on a path of a family at the center of a of a controversial cult movement, dealing with the struggles of family, belief, doubt and choosing what we want in the life we live. This new series will be available starting March 30th, 2016.
