'Arrested Development'
The story of a wealthy family who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together. 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'
Starring Neil Patrick Harris, this adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s dark and iconic children’s series is heading to Netflix January 13. The series follows three orphans who are savagely terrorized by their caretaker who wants the money they stand to inherit. If Harry Potter met Grimm’s Fairy Tales, this would be the resulting series.

Based on the educational app of the same name, this children’s series seeks to answer some of kids’ most common questions through song and dance.
'Atelier'
This Japanese-American series is all about passion. Atelier follows Mayuko Tokita, a designer who is willing to do just about anything to work for the high-end lingerie brand Emotion. However, similar to The Devil Wears Prada, the stress of the job and the competition around her quickly overshadows her ambitions.
'A Very Secret Service'
This French comedy spy series follows a young trainee officer who accepts a position with the French Secret Services in the 1960s. He and his co-workers have to deal with the Cold War while confronting nation-wide social changes, such as the rise of feminism and New Wave cinema.
'Beat Bugs'
If you love The Beatles and are looking for something to watch with your kids, this may be a good option. Beat Bugs uses classic songs from the iconic group to teach children about love and friendship. Featuring covers from Pink and Sia, the series is an attempt to bridge the gap between educational and amusing children’s entertainment.
'Between'

'Bottersnikes and Gumbles'

From the creator of Misfits, if you loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer, there’s a good chance you’ll like this comedy horror. Crazyhead follows a bowling alley worker who spends her free time kicking some serious demon butt.
'The Crown'
Netflix Original’s new political drama, The Crown, written by Frost/Nixon’s Peter Morgan focuses on the political rivalries and romance behind Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. 'Frontier'
This upcoming Canadian-American historical drama focuses on the North American fur trade of the 1700s. It’s co-produced by Discovery Channel, stars Jason Momoa, and premieres January 20.
'Fuller House'
This Netflix spin-off series continues the 1987 adventures of Full House as the Tanners return to our screens, up to their same old antics but this time they’re all grown up. A recently widowed D.J. 'The Killing'

'Kong: King of the Apes'
This American, Canadian, and Japanese children’s series is set in the year 2050 and follows the story of Kong, a wanted and destructive fugitive. There are robotic dinosaurs, trusting children, and one impressive ape.
'Kulipari: An Army of Frogs'
This action-packed fantasy adventure cartoon tells the story of Amphibilands, a hidden village of peaceful frogs. However, when an evil group of poisoned frogs called the Kulipari invade, things take a turn for the epic.
'Kuromukuro'
This anime follows the story of a samurai who awakens from the past to find that present-day Japan is being invaded by aliens. Don’t worry; there are giant robots involved.
'Lady Dynamite'
This Netflix Original follows a brightly colored and fictionalized version of comedian Maria Bamford’s life. It’s over-the-top, incredibly strange, and pointedly offbeat. However, underneath the odd and often silly series is a heartfelt exploration into bipolar disorder.
'Last Chance U'
Directed by Greg Whiteley, this docuseries follows one of the most successful college football programs you’ve probably never heard of — East Mississippi Community College. The series explores the ins and outs of this program, which is often to be considered athletes’ last chance to play professionally, and explores East Mississippi’s violently disastrous season.
'Lego Bionicle: The Journey to One'
Based on the popular toy line of the same name, Lego Bionicle follows the evolution of the Toa, creatures that are part-organic, part-machine. As the show’s heroes learn bout their control over the elements, they must also protect their homes and defeat their evil foe in this children’s cartoon.
'Lego Friends: The Power of Friendship'
This children’s show follows five female best friends who tackle adventures together in their hometown. Despite the show’s affiliation with Lego, the series features characters that relate more to people than blocks.
'Lilyhammer'
Technically the very first Netflix Original series, Lilyhammer was revamped for the platform back in 2012. Quirky mobster Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano (Steven Van Zandt) has to flee to rural Norway after ratting out his associates. Frank has to make due with the skills he has after being torn away from his beloved New York City, but soon finds that rural Norway isn’t as innocent as he may have originally thought. 'Longmire'
Picked up by Netflix for a fourth and fifth season when A&E announced that it would not be renewing the series, Longmire gains new life along with its main character, Will Longmire (Robert Taylor) as he rebuilds his life after the death of his wife. 'Making a Murderer'
Exonerated after spending eighteen years in prison for a crime he did not commit Steven Avery finds himself back in the courtroom as he is being accused of a brutal murder, mere weeks after the law enforcement team associated with his first arrest were under review for misconduct relating to his first conviction in this Netflix documentary series. Filmed over a ten year period, this series takes the viewer on a journey of did he or didn’t he? Examining the personal lives of the Avery’s and the community that surrounded them in small Wisconsin town this true crime documentary asks you for ten hours of your life to find out the story of man who has spent twenty-five years of his life in prison for crimes he may or may have not committed.
