The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is now streaming on Netflix, so you have plenty of time to catch up on Katniss Everdeen’s heroic exploits before the next film in the series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, lands in theaters next month. Two of the fall season’s best new shows aren’t on network television. Amazon’s Transparent and Showtime’s The Affair are both breaking new ground in terms of storytelling, and they’re both available to stream. If you’re more interested in the fun of reality TV, Lifetime has a free channel on Roku where you can keep up to date on guilty pleasures like Dance Moms and Project Runway. Finally, The Walking Dead is back for season five and it’s better than ever, but if you’ve fallen behind, you can easily catch up on what you’ve missed on streaming. Seasons 1-4 are now on Netflix.
