Cinemax is hoping it can strike gold with a comic book adaptation of its own. The network has cast Patrick Fugit as the lead in its upcoming exorcism drama, Outcast, reports Deadline. The series is based on a comic of the same name by the writer of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, and will also star Philip Glenister and Gabriel Bateman. Also, for fans of smart horror films, You’re Next director Adam Wingard has been tapped to helm the pilot.
