Final Shots: Nick Kroll Felt That ‘Kroll Show’ had Reached Its ‘Natural Conclusion’

If you’re going to go out, might as well try to go out as close to the top as possible, right? According to Nick Kroll the reason that the upcoming third season of Kroll Show will be its last because he and the rest of the show’s crew realized they’d finished with the stories they’d set out to tell. Well, it was not the plan to do so, but as we started to get towards the end of the season, it just became clear that we wrapped up a lot of the stories and characters that we had created, and felt like we had brought a number of them to their natural conclusion,” he told Vulture on Tuesday. “So, as opposed to stringing out more seasons, we wanted to feel like we were going out with the best work that we’ve done,” he added. Kroll Show returns to Comedy Central on Jan. 13.
