Final Shots: HBO Picks Sarah Silverman Pilot About ‘Pathologically Honest’ Woman

HBO hasn’t given up on comedy yet. The network – which is already home to Girls, Veep and Silicon Valley – has just picked up a pilot starring none other than Sarah Silverman, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The currently untitled show will focus on, “a pathologically honest woman (Silverman) having a modern midlife crisis.” The comedian will also act as executive producer in addition to her acting duties. The pick up comes a year after HBO decided to pass on the Silverman and Topher Grace-starring People in New Jersey.
