Final Shots: Ben Affleck and David Fincher to Team Up Again for Alfred Hitchcock Remake

Nothing wrong with going back to the well a second time. Ben Affleck and David Fincher are re-teaming for a remake of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Strangers on a Train, reports Deadline. If that wasn’t enough to get Gone Girl fans (which we are) in a tizzy, Gillian Flynn is in talks to script the movie, which will feature an updated premise. Since train travel isn’t as common as it once was, the movie — which will be titled Strangers – will take place on private planes, and instead of playing a bored tennis pro, Affleck will play an actor in the midst of an Oscar campaign.
