Thank goodness it’s Thursday, amirite? Being that it’s Friday Eve and you don’t feel like doing anymore work at your desk, it’s time to tune in to some Afternoon Delight. This week’s goof-off pick is none other than Broad City.

If you’re still hungry for more after last night’s epic Season Two premiere, revisit the best of the duo’s old webisodes that helped put them on the map. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer have been toking up and getting down long before Comedy Central swooped in and offered them a spot on TV, and even though their earliest YouTube vids aren’t of television production quality, they’re still unapologetically Abbi and Ilana. These three specifically inspired some of your favorite episodes of the show. All episodes are available on YouTube and run between two and six minutes.

“Yoga”

Though it’s only three minutes long, the token “I’m not a mom!” line from Season One’s classic “Pu$$y Weed,” shines through at the end of this short as Abbi and Ilana defend their youthful looks to a group of offensive yoga parents. [Where to stream “Pu$$y Weed”]

“Dog Sitting”

This one features Shannon Patricia O’Neil (who you might remember as Bevers’ sister in Season One’s “Hurricane Wanda”) as Miss O’Neil, Abbi’s next-door neighbor who’s hired her to watch her pup for the weekend. After setting strict guidelines for Abbi, Miss O’Neil heads off to the Poconos… or so they think. In reality, Miss O’Neil has been spying on Abbi and Ilana as they’ve been taking advantage of her HBO subscription and feeding her dog birthday cake. This webisode, along with “Work,” inspired Season One episode “Working Girls.” [Where to stream “Working Girls”]

“The Things They Carried”

This episode isn’t necessarily laugh-out-loud funny, but it gives you a taste of their offbeat writing where the plot is about a singular thing that never comes to be. In “The Things They Carried,” Abbi and Ilana are headed to a birthday brunch for an old friend and realize they’ve forgotten the gift. After emptying out their purses (which are more like suitcases) and realizing they’re out of luck, the girls decide to ditch their friend and brunch altogether — kind of how they did in Season One’s “Destination: Wedding.” [Where to stream “Destination Wedding”]
