The cast of Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters remake is finally starting to take shape, and, wow, is it a good one. Melissa McCarthy, who starred in Feig’s two previous films, Bridesmaids and The Heat, has signed on to star in the film, reports The Hollywood Reporter, with Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon all in negotiations to star alongside her. The film, which has been in development for years, is scheduled to start filming in New York this summer.

Adam Sandler and Netflix are looking to start their 4-picture movie deal with a bang. The Ridiculous 6, the first film produced as part of the deal, is set to star Taylor Lautner, Nick Nolte, Blake Shelton and Whitney Cummings alongside leading man Sandler, reports The Wrap. The film will be a play on team-up westerns like The Magnificent Seven, and will also feature frequent Sandler collaborators Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Dan Aykroyd, Will Forte, Nick Swardson, Terry Crews, Jon Lovitz and Vanilla Ice, who’s set to play Mark Twain.
