‘Scrubs’ Fans (Especially Aaron Paul) Can Rest Easy: The Series Is NOT Leaving Netflix

If you missed the Twitter breakdown between Scrubs star Zach Braff and Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul last night (which we spotted on UPROXX), word was hospital comedy series was set to expire from Netflix at the beginning of next month.

The Twitterverse, of course, spiraled into a frenzy after Braff tweeted that he had “no idea” why the show is coming off Netflix. Allegedly, contracts were set to expire this month but got pushed to February 4th. We reached out to Netflix, who assured us that Scrubs is not going anywhere.

That’s right, the NBC comedy that aired back in 2001 and apparently has a devout cult following (with Aaron Paul as their unofficial leader), is staying put. Netflix explained to us that contract negotiations were still being worked out and, as we know from our Last Call titles, sometimes those pesky contracts take a little while to finalize. So Braff, Paul, and Scrubs fans everywhere can rest easy.
