It’s no secret that we all love binge-watching television, but what shows do the actors on our favorite shows like to mainline when they’re not on set?
We got a chance to sit down with the cast of Black Sails on location in Cape Town, South Africa and we asked them what their last favorite binge-watch was. While we heard Luke Arnold (John Silver) expound on how great Fargo was and while Tom Hopper (Billy Bones) gushed about watching Game of Thrones with his “missus,” it seemed like the cast had two big favorite shows: Breaking Bad and House of Cards.
Toby Stephens (Captain Flint) and Hakeem Kae Kazim (Mr. Scott) both enthused about the Netflix drama — which is coming back for season three on February 27 — but it seems like Breaking Bad might very well be the cast’s favorite show. Clara Paget (Anne Bonny) said that her obsession for the show was so great that she and her boyfriend developed a codeword so they could wiggle out of social engagements to go home and watch. Paget said, “I remember being out with my boyfriend and just giving each other the look, and going, ‘Breaking,’ and [we] left. ‘Oh, sorry guys! We got a really, really hectic day tomorrow! Breaking.'”
One cast member, though, did admit to one massive guilty pleasure. Yes, it seems one of the rough and tough pirates of Black Sails loves The Real Housewives. Check out the video below to find out who it is:
