As he’s proven throughout his career, Paul Feig knows comedy. But despite his comic chops and a cast filled with incredibly funny actresses like Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie, don’t expect his upcoming Ghostbusters reboot to only be filled with laughs. As a guest on Talking Dead on Sunday, the director said he hoped to draw on some of the more terrifying aspects of The Walking Dead, reports the A.V. Club. “What I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it’s always about gauntlet run. And that’s something, an element I want to bring to this Ghostbusters reboot.” So expect to laugh and scream in similar measure when the eagerly anticipated movie comes out next summer.
