‘Hawaii Five-O’ Just Landed On Netflix

Four seasons of CBS cop drama Hawaii Five-O just hit on Netflix today, which explains why early this morn, you heard the faint sound of moms everywhere rejoicing. All kidding aside, the crime series, inspired by the popular 1968 version, is one of the network’s most-watched dramas, right behind NCIS and Tom Selleck staple, Blue Bloods (also on Netflix)

Starring Entourage‘s Scott Caan and former rom-com star turned smoking hot detective type, Alex O’Loughlin, Hawaii Five-O is a pinch of CSI forensics fare mixed with high octane car chase scenes, shoot outs, super hot lady cops, and scantily clad Hawaiians. While the show is certainly flashy and fun, it aims to strike a serious chord as well. O’Loughlin plays tormented detective, Steve McGarrett, who returns home to the oasis of Oahu to avenge is father’s murder. Governor Pat Jameson (Jean Smart) grants him permission to round up his own task force to take down the island’s most wanted criminals, which will hopefully inch him closer to his father’s killer.

He just has to dry off first. Take your time.

Say hello to your new guilty pleasure (and soon, something you and your mom can bond over during the holidays), now on Netflix. And in case you were curious, they still feature the original theme song.
