AMC has faith in its Walking Dead spin-off, so much so that network has already committed a second season of the show months before its debut. The still-untitled companion series, which will premiere this summer, will get a second slate of episodes set to air next year, reports Entertainment Weekly. Starring Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam, the series focuses on what the zombie apocalypse is like on the other side of the country in Los Angeles. This is the second time AMC has shown confidence in a spin-off, as the Better Call Saul also received a two year commitment from the network before it had aired.
