After four terrifying years seasons, Jessica Lange is finally done with American Horror Story. The actress confirmed as much as the Paleyfest TV festival in Los Angeles this weekend, reports the New York Times. “We’ve had a great run. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I loved the writers, actors, Ryan, the whole insanity of it, the stories, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, everything,” she said when asked if she’d star alongside Lady Gaga next year. “To cut to the chase, yes, I’m done.” Although the show has featured ensemble casts since premiering four years ago, Lange has continually stole the spotlight, especially the last three seasons when she portrayed a tortured nun running an asylum, the head of a coven of witches and the owner of a freak show.
