Father-Daughter Team Remakes ‘Jurassic Park’ With LEGOs

Most kids get creative with their LEGOs, throwing away all of those instruction manuals and instead building their own original creations. But most kids aren’t like Hailee Hollingsworth who, along with her film editor and animator dad Paul, took their massive collection of LEGO bricks (worth $100,000, according to AV Club) and created something truly inventive: a LEGO version of Jurassic Park.

Clocking in at just under four minutes, the father-daughter team depict the most memorable moments from Steven Spielberg’s 1993 action-adventure with the classic toys. The results are pretty spectacular.

Curious as to how the Hollingsworths pulled it off? They’ve revealed their tricks in this behind-the-scenes video.

If their short homage to the dinosaur film made you crave more of those jurassic thrills — or even more LEGO creativity, find out where to stream Jurassic Park and The LEGO Movie.
