At least one cable provider is ready to admit that streaming is the future of television. Today, Cablevision announced that they had reached an agreement with Hulu to make its VOD catalog available to Optimum customers, reports The Verge. According to the website, this means that consumers will be able to get the same Hulu experience they get from Roku, Apple TV and game consoles via their Cablevision remote. It’s still unclear when the new service will be available or how much it will cost.
