I like to imagine that everyone who gets a check from Netflix considers the Netflix Originals crew to be “one big happy family,” but like for real — not just something to say during press junkets. Like, I picture them all getting together at a picnic, with Kate Mara and Lorraine Toussaint complaining about getting killed off their respective shows, and Robin Wright organizing the Orange Is the New Black ladies into a welcoming committee for Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Oh, and Tituss Burgess brings the Pinot Noir, naturally. Wouldn’t that make for a great TV show?
Until that happens, Netflix is giving us a tease at what it’d be like for its series’ stars to hang out together. In the first episode of Netflix: The Originals, House of Cards‘ Kevin Spacey and Marvel’s Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox sit down and interview each other about their respective characters, their favorite Netflix shows (Spacey, in particularly, likes to catch up on Breaking Bad), and Claire Underwood could probably kick Daredevil’s ass.
