5 Hilarious Episodes Of ‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’

Jerry Seinfeld couldn’t be having a better birthday. After months of speculation surrounding Seinfeld coming to streaming, Hulu announced today that they’ve acquired the rights to the perennial NBC sitcom. Yup, we’ve been dancing like Elaine Benes all morning.

While we haven’t yet heard when the series will hit Hulu, there’s still plenty of Jerry Seinfeld to watch online. If you’re in desperate need for some dry sarcasm and have recently cut your cable chord (R.I.P. endless TBS re-runs), check out Seinfeld’s Emmy-nominated series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. True to its self-explanatory title, Jerry Seinfeld picks up a fellow comedian (guests include David Letterman, Tina Fey, Louis C.K., and more) in a different car every episode, where they make a point to get into some shenanigans on the way to grab a cup of joe. The series is available on Sony’s streaming platform, Crackle, and we’ve picked out our five favorites to get you warmed up for whenever Seinfeld lands on Hulu.

Aziz Ansari: Season Four, Episode Four

Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari surprised Jerry by picking him up in a Prevost X345 tour bus in which they take through the narrow streets of Boston in search of some quality Yawkee breakfast. Aziz lets Jerry hop behind the wheel of the “flying brick,” which they drive to Brody’s diner and talk about lying to waitstaff, accents, and Beverly Hills Cop.

4

Don Rickles: Season Two, Episode Four

Jerry gets giddy when he picks up his idol Don Rickles in a 1958 Cadillac El Dorado. Rickles takes Jerry back through the early days of performing at the Copacabana and telling Frank Sinatra to shut the hell up when people are talking.

3

Jimmy Fallon: Season Five, Episode Seven, Part II

In the Season Five finale, Jerry and beloved Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon teamed up for two episodes dubbed “The Unsinkable Legend,” splitting their travels between a posh aqua 1956 Corvette and a speedboat. Jerry gives Fallon some life advice between conversations about the fears of interviewing guests and the crime of censoring butthole jokes.

2

Amy Schumer: Season Five, Episode Two

Jerry picks up comedic goddess Amy Schumer in a ’78 yellow Ferrari that’s on the fritz and eventually breaks down along the West Side Highway. They make their way on foot to the Bronx in search of a diner where they discuss The Wire, her vagina, and the upside of youth.

1

Howard Stern: Season Three, Episode Seven

After some convincing, Jerry picks up a very grumpy Howard Stern in a bright orange Pontiac GTO where they get real real about what to do with their last years on earth. Per usual, Stern is a relentless guest, but the balance in demeanor between the two makes for one of the most memorable episodes of the series.
