Maybe you were a teen in the ’90s, your emotions and hormones constantly raging because of all of the sexy music videos and late-night cable programs you secretly watched when your parents were asleep. Well, you weren’t alone. Teen cinema really hit its peak in the ’90s, and it seemed like every movie about high school centered around the characters’ single goal: to get laid. Yes, sex was big in the ’90s, and it seemed like only teenagers were having it. Let’s take a look back to one of the horniest decades on record.

Sure, Reese Witherspoon may seem like the sweet, wholesome girl-next-door these days, but back in the '90s she played the bad girl more than once. Here, she's a sexually aggressive modern teen stuck in an old-fashioned, melodramatic, black and white TV show — but her assertive ways in the backseats of those old cars will turn Pleasantville to color.

You know how teenagers are: always conspiring to entrap their skeevy teachers into blackmail plots by offering to have a threesome with them. In the case of Wild Things, the teacher in question (played by Matt Dillon) got a regular buffet of sexual partners: the lower class Suzie (played by Neve Campbell) and the filthy rich Kelly (played by Denise Richards).

No one said being a horny teen was a good thing. SPOILER ALERT: Skeet Ulrich's Billy was one of the two culprits behind all of those murders. Not that it was all that surprising, considering he spent all that time loitering around his virgin girlfriend's house trying to get her to upgrade their relationship to an R-rated one.

Teens generally aren't very creative when it comes to sex — the backseats of cars are usually as crazy as it gets. But in this high school football drama, Ali Larter's Darcy proved she was smarter — and maybe more artistic? — than she looked when she attempted to seduce the quarterback with a whipped-cream bikini.

Everyone in this ensemble comedy had some task to complete before the end of the last party of their senior year: confessions, revenge, even sex. For Kenny, the white hip-hop enthusiast whose boners were likely covered up in those baggy pants, the latter was the most important goal. Luckily for him, he was trapped in a bathroom all night with the surly Denise (Lauren Ambrose).

These scheming step-siblings are the worst kind of teenagers: bored. Even worse, Sebastian spends most of his days trying to screw his sister (he at least gets a hand job from her) — going as far as deflowering and humiliating another classmate in order to please his sultry sister’s cruel whims.

To be fair, the entire cast of this quintessential ‘90s teen sex comedy were some of the horniest kids in the entire decade, but Jason Biggs’ star turn as Jim shined brighter than the rest of the up-and-coming cast members. I mean, he fucked a pie, for crying out loud.

Let’s be honest: there’s no way Verona’s most famous star-crossed lovers (played here by Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes) would have gotten married in the middle of the liberal ‘90s before they got to have sex. Can you imagine how things would have turned out if they had just boned and realized how they little they actually cared for each other afterward?
