30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt creator Tina Fey stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman last night on what would be her final appearance on the talk show. Having been a guest nearly twenty times (“I live nearby, and people cancel a lot,” she joked), Fey wanted to look her best for her favorite talk show host, saying she wore a gorgeous dress out of respect for Letterman — and that he’s the only host she’d present with such an honor. “What am I gonna do,” she said, “wear special underwear for James Corden?”
“Since this is the last time wearing a fancy dress on a talk show and conforming to gender norms out of respect for you,” Fey said, “I want to give you the dress.” And after Letterman helped her unzip the back, Fey peeled the dress off and showed off her body forming underwear complete with “#LastDressEver” emblazoned on her butt.
