It’s Wednesday, which means it’s socially welcome to crush on your favorite lady. This week we’re head over heels for Jennette McCurdy, star of brand new Netflix Original drama, Between. Click on any of the title links to find out where you can stream the best of McCurdy’s career.

WHO’S THAT LADY?: Jennette McCurdy

WHAT’S THE CAUSE FOR WORSHIP?: McCurdy stars in new Netflix drama Between, a mystery about a tiny town plagued by a strange virus that wipes out the population over the age of 21.

WHERE DO YOU KNOW HER FROM?: For years, McCurdy was Nickelodeon’s golden girl, starring as Sam Puckett in the hit tween series iCarly and its equally successful spin-off, Sam & Cat. She also guest-starred on Zoey 101 and later on Whoopi Goldberg’s medical drama, Strong Medicine. After a very public fallout with Nickelodeon following the leaking of personal photos, McCurdy said goodbye to the kiddie network and carved her own path with her web series What’s Next for Sarah?, which she wrote and produced.

WHERE YOU’RE GOING TO SEE HER NEXT: On Netflix’s Between, McCurdy plays Wiley, a pregnant high school senior forced to raise a baby on her own after a mysterious virus kills off the adult population of Pretty Lake. McCurdy will also voice the character of Sue in the animated flick Almost Heroes 3D, out later this year.

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: While slow-burner Between has yet to win us over as a series, McCurdy’s performance is undeniably notches above her co-stars’. Channeling the darker side of her range (similar to what we saw in What’s Next for Sarah?), McCurdy owns it as Wiley, who’s struggling to keep her cool, despite having little-to-no support from her god-fearing family and absentee baby daddy amidst a frightening local tragedy. It might be too early to say what kind of projects we’ll see her populate in the near future, but it’s safe to say that the former child star has acquired some serious acting chops over the years.
