Instead Of Seeing ‘Pixels’ This Weekend, Re-watch The Original Short Film 42 Times

Adam Sandler‘s latest comic disaster hits theaters this weekend, and if the reviews tell us anything, it’s that we should definitely not see Pixels. Even though it’s slated to be a massive box-office disaster, the one saving grace of Pixels‘ existence is that it reminds us of the incredible short film on which it’s based. Instead of going to see this 105-minute clunker of a movie, why not just watch the original short, written and directed by French filmmaker Patrick Jean, which clocks in at a brief two and a half minutes.

And, hey, if you’re desperate for some Adam Sandler while you watch this ingenious short in which video game characters obliterate New York City from the sky, just play this compilation of the comedian’s funniest movie moments in a second tab.

Shout-out to The Week for reminding us of how great the original Pixels was.
