Is Jon Snow Alive Or Dead? There’s New Info To Share

We’ve been following Game of Thrones star Kit Harington‘s hair closely ever since Jon Snow’s shocking death in the season five finale. Why? Because Harington is contractually obligated to keep it long so long as he’s Jon Snow. So, if Jon Snow is really dead, he gets to get a trim. If he’s not, the hair stays flowing in the wind.

Fans rejoiced when they found out that Harington had been spotted in Belfast, Northern Ireland with his hair tied up in a man bun, but today we have sad news. Harington is no longer in Belfast, where Game of Thrones shoots. Nope. According to Winter Is Coming, he was just spotted last night in Almería, Spain…where Game of Thrones now shoots.

Let’s break it down for you:

  • Kit Harington is no longer physically in the city where most of Game of Thrones is produced. This is bad for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • Kit Harington’s hair is still long. This is good for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • Kit Harington’s next project is a film called Brimstone and one of that film’s listed locations is Spain. This is bad for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • Kit Harington is hanging out in the town where Game of Thrones is set to shoot in September and October. This is good for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • Kit Harington might need the hair and beard for Brimstone. This is bad for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • Again, Kit Harington still has long hair and a beard. This is good for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.
  • The Alamería set will probably stand in for a city that is well south of the Wall. This is confusing for “Jon Snow LIVES!” truthers.

All in all, we don’t really know what it means except that poor Kit Harington will have the most watched head of hair in all the world from now until next April. [Where to Stream Game of Thrones]
