I sincerely hope that all of you have by now binged the eight episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, which premiered on Netflix last week. Creators David Wain and Michael Showalter managed to expand, deepen, and insert even more crazy into the world of Camp Firewood, while also loading up the show with references to the original film. As it turns out, there were a lot of callbacks to the original, 2001 cult classic film embedded in the new series. Some deepen the original joke, while some simply repeat the original premise. Some were signature bits from the movie, while others were obscure even for the most diehard Wet Hot fans. Here are all 26 of them, ranked and categorized for your viewing pleasure.

We intentionally left one or two juicy Easter Eggs out of this roundup, because there’s no amount of #SpoilerAlert that could prevent their delights from being ruined. (In other words, it’s TOO SOON.) So go explore them for yourselves. Like the original film, First Day of Camp only gets richer with repeated viewings. Soon, new characters like Drew, Yaron, and Claude Dumet will be as beloved as Andy, Gene, and Coop. Camp Firewood isn’t just a summer camp. Camp Firewood is an idea. A promise. A way of life. I couldn’t agree more.
