Over the last few weeks, Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter has given us insight and gossip from Hollywood’s leading ladies of comedy and drama. This Sunday, in an all-new episode, it’s time for the best comedic actors to dish on pushing boundaries, tussling with network executives, and drawing inspiration from strange sources.

Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter is a series where The Hollywood Reporter gathers some of the brightest talents in the film and television industry together for a candid conversation about the business and their craft. This week’s “Comedy Actors” edition features Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Don Cheadle (House of Lies), Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth), Ricky Gervais (Derek), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), and Jordan Peele (Key and Peele).

In the sneak peek clip below, Jordan Peele addresses what it’s like working with Comedy Central. As it turns out, he and Keegan-Michael Key don’t usually run into problems with pushing the envelope, but are constantly addressing concerns about targeting the right demographic. Apparently, kids today aren’t too hip to Star Wars. Yep, that’s right:

The strangest notes that we’ll get are things like, ‘Uh, is Star Wars really a thing that people care about?’ … And then we go, ‘Uh…yeah. People still care.’ … We did the sketch [about Star Wars]; not a lot of people cared, to be honest. The younger generation are not as feverish for Star Wars.”

Yeah, let’s just wait to see if that changes when Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits cinemas this December…

Peele also says that if he and Key do ever feel friction from the higher-ups, they just play “the race card.” He says, “Anytime you get a note you don’t like, you say, ‘It’s a black thing.’” Check out the clip below:
