Final Shots: ‘Galaxy Quest’ Series Heading to Amazon

Amazon is bringing Galaxy Quest back. Amazon Studios, the company’s entertainment division, is pushing forward with a television adaptation of the beloved 1999 sci-fi comedy, reports Entertainment Weekly. The cult film, which starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman, revolves around the cast of a beloved sci-fi series who are tasked with saving the planet from an actual alien invasion. The series is still in the early stages, but co-writer Rovert Gordon and director Dean Parisot are both expected to be involved in the series.
