That was quick. Even though it hasn’t been on Netflix for a full week yet, the streaming service has already gone ahead and renewed Narcos for a second season, reports Variety. Created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, the 1980s-set drug drama focuses on infamous cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar (played by Wagner Moura) and the Medellin Cartel. Although originally planned as a movie, it sounds like the decision to go with a series seems to have certainly worked out. The second season does not yet have a return date.
