If you’ve been watching tonight’s Emmy Awards, you may have noticed Olive Kitteridge keeps popping up in category after category and subsequently gobbling up nearly every golden statuette in its pathThe HBO miniseries just snagged six — count ’em — six Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Limited Series or TV movie categories, including Supporting Actor for Bill Murray, Lead Actor for Richard Jenkins, Lead Actress for Frances McDormand (who also executive produced the series), and director Lisa Cholodenko (one of our 25 female directors you should know), before closing out the category with Outstanding Limited Series.

The four-part miniseries aired September of last year on the premium cable channel. In addition to winning up six Emmys this evening, it was previously nominated for three Golden Globes. McDormand stars as the title character in the adaptation of Elizabeth Strout’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about a middle school math teacher (the titular Olive) and her turbulent marriage to husband Henry (Jenkins) in their sleepy Maine shore town. Instead of an overtly stylish miniseries like, say, American Horror Story: Freak Show, Olive Kitteridge sounds like a character-driven, emotional roller coaster with a top-notch cast and HBO budget.

You can stream Olive Kitteridge on HBO Go and HBO Now, thanks to generous Emmys host, Andy Samberg’s, log in, shown below. We can confirm that this actually works.
