It’s Wednesday, which means it’s socially acceptable to very publicly crush on your favorite lady. This week, we’re head over heels for Gage Golightly of Amazon’s new throwback ’80s comedy, Red Oaks. Debuting on Prime Video Friday October 9, the series revolves around introvert David (Craig Roberts) and his life-changing summer at the titular New Jersey country club. Golightly plays blonde bombshell Karen, David’s delightful and dutiful girlfriend who dons nostalgia-inducing pastel makeup, traffic-stopping neon leotards, and, of course, big crimped hair. While Karen is a whirlwind of colorful energy, she’s at a crossroads with David, whose reserved ways and refusal to face adulthood cause her to seek attention elsewhere — namely blowhard local photographer, Barry (Josh Meyers), who assures Karen the world is her oyster. And though Barry is normally full of hot air (and wincing pickup lines), we can’t help but agree: Golightly is going places.

WHERE YOU KNOW HER FROM: Twenty-two-year-old Golightly got her start on TV movies and guest spots on Disney and Nickelodeon fare before landing recurring roles on medical drama Heartland, kid-friendly The Troop, The CW’s Ringer, and MTV hit Teen Wolf as Erica Reyes.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER NEXT: Golightly is slated to appear in Travis Zariwny’s (Scavengers) comedy horror Cabin Fever, out next year.
