Amazon‘s newest sitcom Red Oaks might feel like yet another tired retreat of ’80s cliches, but what makes the series soar with youthful whimsy is its fantastic leading man Craig Roberts. The Welsh actor’s secret weapon is his profoundly expressive face. With his big puppy eyes and honest expression, he has the ability to instantly hook an audience and make you root for his put upon tennis pro.

If you want to see more Craig Roberts before the big Red Oaks series premiere this Friday, October 9, we’ve compiled five titles on streaming just for you. It’s kind of like a “meet cute” in a romantic comedy, but because it’s all streaming, we’re calling it your “meet queue.” So get ready to fall in love with Craig Roberts…

Submarine (2010)

Even though Roberts had been acting steadily since childhood, his breakthrough performance was in Richard Ayoade’s utterly sublime Submarine. Roberts plays 15-year-old Welsh boy Oliver Tate, a teen trying to reconcile his parents all while dealing with the tortures of first love. The film is gorgeously shot, poignant, and rests entirely on the shoulders of Roberts. [Where to Stream Submarine]

Being Human/”Becoming Human” (2010-2011)

You might best know Being Human as that hip British show about a vampire, werewolf, and ghost who live together, but it was also an incubator for some of Britain’s top up-and-coming talent. Craig Roberts had a recurring role in the series and a starring role in a spin-off web series called “Becoming Human.” Roberts played Adam, a young Welsh vampire trying to get by. Alex shows up in the episodes “Adam’s Family” and “Hold The Front Page.” You can check out the web series on YouTube by clicking here. [Watch Being Human on Netflix]

Skins, “Fire” (2013)

Speaking of edgy British TV shows that were “incubators” for future stars… Craig Roberts also appeared on Skins. Well, he sort of appeared on the show. While Roberts missed the boat in being in the original critically-acclaimed series, he got to be an honorary member of the club when he appeared in the Skins special “Fire.” The Series 7 specials followed a few of the original teen characters as they tried to navigate the world as disaffected young adults. Roberts played Dom, a co-worker of Kaya Scodelario’s incendiary Effy. [Watch Skins on Netflix]

Neighbors (2014)

Chances are you remember Craig Roberts’ stand out performance in the hit Seth Rogen/Zac Efron comedy Neighbors, even if he wasn’t a major player. Roberts shed his British accent and became “Assjuice,” a beleaguered Delta Psi pledge. Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne’s character hire Assjuice to turn on his brethren, but of course the plan goes awry. Red Oaks (2015)

Amazon’s latest comedy Red Oaks is a sweet ode to the trials and triumphs of yesteryear. The hilarious show follows 20-year-old David Myers (Roberts) as he struggles to figure out his future. David’s summer job is working as a tennis pro at a fancy country club, where he has to deal with a testy wealthy client. Adding to his troubles are his father’s heart attack, his beautiful girlfriend, and a mysterious brunette he can’t help but to be drawn to. The full series lands on Prime Video this Friday, but you can stream the pilot for free right now. [Watch Red Oaks on Prime Video]
