Hillary Clinton Jokes About Benghazi Hearing, Binge-Watching ‘House Of Cards’ With Stephen Colbert

Hillary Clinton stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night and in between jokes about her 11-hour Benghazi hearing and her days as a Young Republican, she revealed what she and Bill Clinton like to binge-watch. Hint: Her three choices are perfectly on brand.

The conversation turned to television as soon as Stephen Colbert asked the Democratic presidential candidate how she spent her birthday yesterday. “Bill and I just kind of watched bad TV,” she confessed. “A little binge-watching here and there.”

So what do the Clintons like to watch? “We finally finished House of Cards,” she said, and then joked with Colbert about how boring the high-stakes political drama about a competitive coupling in the White House must be for them. “Another murder…” she quipped and then mimed a yawn.

Clinton is also a fan of The Good Wife and Madame Secretary. As it turns out, she knows that Madeleine Albright was on the show recently and is jealous that she wasn’t invited on! When Colbert joked he could call someone over at the CBS drama, Clinton said, “Yeah, but I think I’d have to wait to do it later.”

The rest of the interview gave Clinton an opportunity to explain why she’s running for President and to crack a few jokes about Ben Carson and Donald Trump’s chances. (The latter is not available on YouTube.)
