Amazon is going after Deadheads next. The company’s entertainment division, Amazon Studios, is developing a limited bio-series based on the Grateful Dead, reports Deadline. The show’s story is based on Home Before Daylight: My Life On The Road With The Grateful Dead, a 2003 memoir from one of the seminal jam band’s longtime roadies, Steve Parish. The series will be executive produced by guitarist and co-founder Bob Weir, who will also oversee its music.
