How To Live Stream Donald Trump’s Event to Benefit Veterans Organizations Tonight

Because nothing can be simple during this election season, you have another option to watch tonight if you’re in a political mood. Trump’s competing fundraiser for wounded veterans is now available to stream.

As you probably already know, tonight is yet another GOP debate, but there’s a big player missing from this one: Donald Trump. The Donald proved good on his threat to boycott the Republican debate tonight. Why’s he boycotting? Because of hosts Megyn Kelly, who is scheduled to co-moderate, and Fox News. All week, Trump has been threatening to boycott this debate because of his feud with Kelly and Fox News. His fight with Kelly stems from last August when Trump claims Kelly treated him unfairly during her questioning. The fight with Fox is all about the Benjamins. Trump is sick of networks getting rich on these debates. To prove wrong the many critics calling his boycotting bluff, Trump scheduled a competing fundraising event in Iowa that just happens to run at the same time as the GOP debate.

The event is a wounded warrior fundraiser, officially titled the Donald J. Trump Special Event to Benefit Veterans Organizations. The event is hosted by Trump and will feature Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum, who didn’t make the main stage cut for this Republican debate. They’ll likely be joining Trump after they wrap up the 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) kiddie table. According to CNN Money, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said, “All networks will be present and have the opportunity to carry live.” But the real question is which networks are seizing the opportunity.

WHAT TIME IS IT?

9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT), aka the same time as the GOP debate.

WHO’S CARRYING IT?

This is where it gets murky because not every network has responded yet, but a few are in the loop for sure. CNN will cover Trump as a live news event; C-Span will carry it live in full, and Fox News, which is obviously focusing on its own debate, will have a correspondent at the event. Also, CBSN and One America News, a conservative news channel, will be covering the event. One America News will actually have full Trump coverage starting at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT).

HOW CAN I LIVE STREAM?

There’s a lot of mumblings on this end too, but CBSN seems to be your best live streaming bet. CBSN is CBS’ 24/7 streaming news network and is the only big name that has promised to live stream the event. The Blaze, a conservative cable channel, has also said that it will “likely” live stream the event, but we say stick with CBSN if you want to watch.
