How To Live Stream Tonight’s Republican Debate On Fox News Channel For Free

Let’s get political, political. Olivia Newton-John references aside, tonight brings another Republican debate, and things are starting to get serious. With each debate, the Republican party is getting closer to putting a ring on it, and we’re on debate number seven. We know that in the olden days, cord cutting meant forfeiting your political opinion or at least waiting for digital write ups before you could weigh in. However, we’re in the future, and the future is the home of live streaming. Read on to see how you can live stream the debate and keep on top of that water cooler conversation.

WHAT TIME IS IT?

As is the case with all Republican debates so far, you have two options to watch. If you want the full GOP experience, the JV debate starts at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). If you’re only interested in the main event, 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) is your time.

WHO’S ATTENDING?

A lot of presidential hopefuls are flooding to Iowa tonight. Over at the “kiddie table,” you have Carly Fiorina, Gov. Mike Huckabee (Ark.), former Sen. Rick Santorum (Pa.), and surprise addition former Gov. Jim Gilmore (Va.). Gilmore hasn’t been invited to any debate since the first one, and there’s a reason you haven’t heard of him. As Vox eloquently puts it, he “barely seems to be campaigning.”

However, we know what you’re really interested in — the main debate. The Big League will be featuring Gov. John Kasich (Ohio), Gov. Chris Christie (N.J.), Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), Former Gov. Jeb Bush (Fla.), and Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.). It looks like Paul’s plan to boycott sitting at the kid’s table has paid off.

Speaking of boycotting, did you notice someone missing from that line-up? That’s right; The Donald is out for this one because it’s being moderated by Megyn Kelly. In case you missed it, Trump, Kelly, and Fox have beef. Instead, Trump is hosting a competing event to raise money for wounded veterans. But who’s ahead in the polls? No matter how you cut it, it’s Trump.

ANYTHING ELSE?

It’s like you’re reading my mind. First of all, Fox is partnering with Google. Why, you ask? For the searching company’s impeccable live data. You’ll be able to watch the Internet respond to the conversation live through Google Trends (BTW, the service already has a page tracking the candidates). Also, a selection of YouTube celebrities have been asked to submit questions, which is…a decision. Fingers crossed for Jenna Marbles and Pizza Rat.
