AFTER YOU’VE WATCHED ‘SPOTLIGHT:’ ‘TRUTH’

In the mood for another film that dramatizes journalism ethics? Check out Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett’s political drama about CBS’ Dan Rather and news producer Mary Mapes. After airing a report about former president George W. Bush’ alleged preferential treatment in the military, the 60 Minutes duo face controversy as the accuracy of the report is called into question. Based on producer Mary Mapes’ book on the subject, this drama chronicles Rather and Mapes’ last days at CBS News and also stars Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss.
