After announcing her brand new upcoming Netflix exclusive talk show via a hilarious letter to herself on Twitter this past Wednesday, Chelsea Handler jumped back on the social platform for a Q & A yesterday morning to reveal the show’s title, as well as some of its other nonsensical attributes. According to Variety, the show will be dubbed Chelsea, which Handler jokingly claims she “thought long and hard” about with a dedicated team at Netflix. “We hired a digital department and some small children who work in various countries to help roll this show out, and after two to three long hours, we came up with the name Chelsea,” she stated to her followers. The first 30-minute episode, which will mark the subscription service’s first-ever talk show, is set to premiere May 11th and will air three days every week, from Wednesday through Friday. If the show (which will bare some similarities to her current Netflix series Chelsea Does) features any of the comedic prowess Handler has been demonstrating with these roll-out announcements, viewers should be in for a real treat.
