Just as you were slowly crawling out of your post-series finale depression, Downton Abbey’s creator Julian Fellowes revealed today that he’s entertaining the idea of developing a movie based on the popular hit show. The iconic writer told the Daily News today that although there’s no script or any pre-production, he’s “obviously, kicking around ideas of what it would be.” It was also reported that the cast have expressed their willingness to participate in a movie, if and when it starts to come together. The PBS series only just ended on March 6th with fans somewhat satisfied with Lady Edith Crawley’s semi-joyful send off, and although the movie rumors had been floating around since then, Fellowes’ latest comments only make it seem inevitable.
