If you’ve been following along with Indiana mole woman turned city girl Kimmy Schmidt from day one, you might have noticed that she’s usually not too aware of what’s going on around her. In fact, if she was perusing her own Netflix page, she probably wouldn’t have noticed that Netflix has added a secret feature to the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt home page. Hopefully Tituss would have been there to steer her in the right direction, though. The new feature called “Kimmy-Fy” shows up as an icon next to the “My List” icon, and it allows any subscriber to view their Netflix homepage through the eyes of Kimmy (in similar fashion to the John Stamos April Fool’s prank). The rad new feature has surfaced just one day ahead of the show’s season two streaming debut, which is tomorrow April 15th.

In other news…

Adding to its already extensive library of stand-up comedy specials, Netflix announced today the addition of five new original stand-up specials from Jim Jefferies, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy (together), and others. The new line will premiere once per month for the next five months starting on May 6th with Ali Wong’s Baby Cobra, according to a press release.

U.S. subscribers are revolting at the fact that Hulu will no longer stream new episodes of British soaps Coronation Street (as of April 7th), as well as Hollyoaks, some even going as far as threatening to cancel their plan. [The Sun]

If you’re not one of the people who are totally soured by Hulu’s change in repertoire, the platform’s upcoming Hugh Laurie drama series, Chance, has been recruiting quite the star-studded cast.  Diane Farr (Numb3rs, Rescue Me) has been cast in a recurring role opposite the former Dr. House. Have you been enjoying Hulu’s original pilot and latest rave The Path? You may view cult leader Cal as a pretty dark character, but the actor who fills his shoes, Hugh Dancy (Hannibal), has a different viewpoint, referring to him as “a pretty happy-go-lucky guy.” [Vulture]
