NBA Playoffs 2016 Live Stream: How To Watch Golden State Warriors Vs. Houston Rockets For Free

The 2016 National Basketball Association playoffs are officially underway after a long, 82-game season that began all the way back in October. This afternoon, the defending NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, are taking on the enigmatic Houston Rockets at the Oracle Center in Oakland, California. Steph Curry, the reigning MVP and odds-on favorite to win that award again this year, will be trying to lead his teammates to another title after a record-breaking regular season. However, the bearded warrior James Harden is hoping that he can lead his fellow Rockets to what would be the most stunning first round upset in NBA history.

HOW CAN I LIVESTREAM THE WARRIORS VS. THE ROCKETS?

The first game of this highly anticipated series is airing live on ABC, but the best way to livestream the game is either through the Watch ESPN App or Sling TV. Unfortunately, you’ll need to authenticate with a cable provider if you want to watch the game on Watch ESPN, so get your (or your friend’s/parent’s!) login credentials ready. Sling TV, however, is currently running a free trial! (More on that below.)

HOW CAN I GET THE WATCH ESPN APP?

The app is available in pretty much any way you can want it. It’s on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, Roku Channel Store, Microsoft Store, Amazon App Store, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, or you could always go old school and go to WatchESPN.com. It’s also available on Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

HOW CAN I GET SLING TV?

This is a terrific time to check out Sling TV, which includes access to ESPN (along with a bunch of other awesome networks like TNT, TBS, HGTV and more). As we mentioned before, Sling TV is currently offering subscribers a free one-week trial of the service, so what better time to give it a whirl than now?
