Final Shots: 7-Hour Trailer Released For Longest Film Ever Made Which Will Be Shown, Then Destroyed

Listen, we know that your agenda for the evening is jam-packed with all the new shows that we gave you to watch today, but if you’re free for the next seven hours, a grueling seven-hour official trailer has been released for the longest film ever made, and you can watch it below. According to NME, the film titled Ambiancé — helmed by Swedish director Anders Weberg — will premiere in 2020 and will run for a whopping 30 days before being destroyed for good. The trailer’s entire shot is filmed in black-and-white over a minimalist rocky landscape in Hovs Hallar, Sweden with two figures in cloaks, one black and one white, interacting in silence. If the location appears any bit familiar, it’s because Ingmar Bergman filmed the infamous chess game played with death from the The Seventh Seal in the very same spot. The film will be for a select audience who would appreciate a concept like “space and time is intertwined into a surreal dream-like journey beyond places,” as described by Weberg.
