'Adventure Time'

There’s a reason why so many adults love this Cartoon Network show, and that reason isn’t exactly legal in most states. Adventure Time has everything that your high self could want — insane plots, fun action sequences, completely random lines, and lots of music. Let Jack the dog, Finn the human, Marceline the Vampire Queen, and Lumpy Space Princess be your new smoke buddies.

No matter what state you’re in, this sci-fi comedy about adapting to the year 3000 is always amazing. Futurama combines enough sight gags, subtle humor, and general ridiculousness to make it an amazing watch when you’re under the influence and an even better one once you’ve sobered up. Jump in around Seasons Two and Three. That’s when things start getting good.

'Robot Chicken'

What if beloved children’s characters were thrust into adult situations? That’s the world Robot Chicken explores, and it’s a great one. Between its addicting-to-watch stop motion animation and its super short sketches, this is the perfect stream if you don’t want to dedicate your future sober self to a re-watch.

If you prefer your humor to be equal parts dark and random, then it’s time to re-watch this short-lived Nicktoon. Created by Jhonen Vasquez, this animated series about an alien trying and failing to conquer Earth can best be characterized by its sarcasm, cruelty, and violence. This is a show that creates a disturbing giant monster baby fusion in one episode and labels the ultimate face of horror as a room with a moose the next. So yeah. It’s kind of all over the place, which is why we love it.

My name is … you know the rest. One of the longest running Adult Swim originals unsurprisingly makes for one of the best stoned streams. If you can’t find enjoyment in watching a flying bag of fries, a sassy milkshake, and a ball of meat navigate everyday life, then you may need to re-evaluate your life.

'Rick and Morty'

Nothing compliments weed better than good sci-fi, and there are few animated sci-fi comedies better than this Dan Harmon show. Imagine if you could watch Doc and Marty McFly from Back to the Future go on adventures in a limitless number of insane universes. Now, imagine that Doc was really an alcoholic asshole and Marty was a very awkward 14-year-old. That’s Rick and Morty. The best part about this one is that it holds up no matter what state you’re in. It’s just a really good cartoon.

'Regular Show'

If you made all of the characters human instead of its weird combination of animal and inanimate object characters, then Regular Show would be a classic stoner comedy. Mordecai the bluejay and Rigby the raccoon have one goal in life: to do as little work as possible. However, their adventures almost immediately get out of control. Think you’re cool enough to hang with these bros? Challenge accepted.

'Metalocalypse'

If you get freaked out easily, this is not the high watch for you. However, if excessive violence for no reason is number one on your comedy list, then this show about the dumbest and most successful death metal band to ever exist needs to be on your must list. Every episode features at least one intense song followed by hundred of fans dying. All that happens between the band claiming insane things like they are bleach. Get in touch with your inner rocker and stream now.

'Chowder'

Few things go better with pot than snacks, which means this insane cartoon all about food is the perfect watch. Chowder achieves the level of unexpectedly weird you want in your stoned series while existing in a universe completely made of and obsessed with food. My stomach’s growling just thinking about it.

'South Park'

You knew Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s controversial comedy was going to be on the list somewhere. If you’re looking to re-watch a cartoon you already know you love, then this is the one. Aim for the later seasons, especially any episodes focusing on Stan, Butters, or Randy.
