Digging AMC’s The Night Manager? The sleek British thriller has been serving up some tautly-wound spy games — with a heaping dose of a smoldering Tom Hiddleston — all spring. Tonight’s episode is upping the ante on the drama and we’ve got two exclusive sneak peeks!
In the first clip, Corky (Tom Hollander) very cooly lets it slip that he knows that Pine (Hiddleston) and Jed (Elizabeth Debicki) totally boned. He does it in a very sly and slinky way that in no way uses the word “bone.” It’s great.
The other clip takes us to Angela Burr (Olivia Coleman)’s office. She’s lamenting the lack of support that she – a pregnant civil servant running a high stakes spy operation — is getting. I feel you, girl. I’ve never been in your position, but I feel you.
Kidding aside, The Night Manager is a gloriously riveting drama and tonight’s penultimate episode will be raising the stakes in new ways. Here’s the official episode description: “A suspicious Roper gathers his entourage around him in an attempt to root out the traitor. In London, Burr and Steadman face mounting opposition.”
